Healthy Media is an eLearning company based in Richmond, West London.
We are currently producing a Wine eLearning course and we require a number of voiceover artists to record audio for this course. We also require more voiceover artists to add to our stable for client work.
Is this what you do?
You must have your own recording setup, or access to a studio and audio editing equipment/software. We want voice artists who can deliver high quality finished work to reasonably tight schedules.
Follow the instructions below to send us a sample.
Please download and listen to these two sample wav, taken from the wine eLearning course.
Sample1.wav - This is an example of the voiceover style (conversational) that we're looking for. Please note that we want the audio quality to be a little better, as this was from a prototype.
Sample2.wav - This is an example of the audio quality we require. Please note that the voiceover style is formal and not necessarily what we are looking for. We prefer a conversational style of voiceover for most of our eLearning work.
Hello, my name is _______________. This is a voiceover sample for Healthy Media.
Burgundy, or Bourgogne as it’s called in France, is the spiritual home of Chardonnay wines, and produces some of the most expensive examples in the world. All white wines produced in Burgundy are made from the Chardonnay grape, so when if you hear someone talking about “a White Burgundy”, you’re expected to know that they’re referring to a Chardonnay from Burgundy. In fact, you’ll rarely see the word “Chardonnay” on a Burgundy label. White Burgundies are labelled according to the region, district, village or vineyard of production. This labelling will be covered in more detail in the section on French wines. Situated in Eastern France, Burgundy has three main Chardonnay growing regions: Chablis, the Côte d’Or, and the Mâconnais. Click next to learn more about the wines produce there.
Edit, normalise the audio to 97% and apply noise reduce if necessary. Compare the quality to Sample2.wav.
Save the audio as a wav file:
Sample size: 16 bit
Sample rate: 44kHz
Channels: Mono
Format: PCM
Rename the file as firstname-lastname-voiceover-sample.wav and email to david.swaddle@healthymedia.co.uk along with your contact details, a link to any personal/showreel website and an idea of your rates.
